The IDW-DEEP2019 provides a special and professional training for engineers and graduate students who are studying membrane-based desalination field.

The Desalination Intensive Training Course mainly delivers the comprehensive understanding of membrane-based desalination technologies from theory to applications. Particularly, Reverse Osmosis (RO), Forward Osmosis (FO), Pressure Retarded Osmosis (PRO), Membrane Distillation (MD), Multi-Stage Flash (MSF), Multi-Effect Distillation (MED), and its integrated processes will be covered. In the course, basic course about fundamentals of desalination theories, membrane and plant design will be firstly offered, and intensive course about membrane fouling, plant design and data engineering will be trained.
